Puddicombe Caboose Farm Stay Opens

Yes the Caboose Farm Stay has finally opened and we are taking bookings.


Basic comforts Package: overnight stay with check in at 3:00pm and check out next day at noon.
Gift basket welcome gift in caboose.
Continental breakfast: muffins,tea biscuits, homemade jams, juice, tea or coffee.
Price: $125.00 + tax Canadian per night.(for two guests)
Please ask for our dining package information.
The difference between a bed and breakfast and a farm stay is we will have everything ready and waiting for you, but you will cook for yourself when you are ready to eat.

Crazy about Trains Day

July is Sweet Cherry Month

Pick your own cherries opens

Family friendly Cherry farm welcomes you! Sweet cherries are ready to be picked starting the26th oF June in 2010. Our week day hours following the long weekend are 8am to 6:30pm, on weekends 8am to 4pm. Train rides, cafe, winery and children's play area are also here for you to enjoy!

Take a left at the lights (Hwy #8) we are a quarter mile down on the right hand side.

SOUR CHERRIES TO OPEN MID JULY

Stop by July TBA weekend and not only can you pick sweet but you can pick sour cherries to make those fabulous cherry pies. We offer pitting as well. Missed the season? Don't worry, we have pitted and frozen cherries as well.

Yes starting this fall you can host a camp fire party for your group. We will provide a firepit area, wood, wash room facilities, campers box with wieners, buns, condiments, marshmallows, skewers for cooking, drinks & napkins. All for one low price.

Harvest Festival

Come on out and visit the farm on Thanksgiving day, October 12th. We will have live entertainment, train and wagon rides, pumpkin patch, kids fun tent with face painting, games and crafts, pick your own apples and more! This is the biggest festival of the year!





Yes it's beginning to look at lot like Christmas

Yes we start early here on the farm, we have to! There are so many things to do to get ready for Christmas.
Mrs. Clause comes in from the North Pole to visit with the children as Santa is way too busy.
Have your children write their letters to Santa and she will deliver them to him personally and he always sends them a reply.
She is a grand old lady and loves to visit with the children and tell them stories.


Our bakery is baking up a storm of Christmas Goodies as they will have so many Christmas Goodie Trays on order and everything is a buzz.

Let us do your Christmas baking for you. Christmas goodie trays are available to order from Nov. 1-Dec.23. Homebaked pies all fruit flavours, tarts, cookies, breads, sweet loafs, ect.

PUDDICOMBE POLAR EXPRESS

Experience the magic of Christmas at Puddicombe Farms

Train ride on "Little Pudd" our seasonally decorated train, hot chocolate and cookie, visit our Pullman car (just like the one in the movies) and visit the north pole-meet Santa and Mrs. Clause. Children's crafts and story time also available. DRESS FOR THE WEATHER! RUNS RAIN OR SHINE. The program runs for approx. 1 1/2 hours.
Picture opportunities with Santa as well. Bring your cameras!
November 29th December 6th & 13th 2009. Times 11am,12pm and 1pm.

WINTER CAMPFIRES

Warm up around a campfire.

Bring your friends and family to the farm to enjoy an afternoon or evening (6-8) campfire. We will provide you with a campfire pit, wood, hot dogs,marshmallows, and warm drinks. Go on a wagon ride snuggled under our warm blankets.
Must have a minimum of 15 guests and reservations.
